Louise Hendricks turns jewelry into talismans

A long-time exhibitor at Premiere Classe, founder Agnès Roland designs precious and spiritual pieces that celebrate the many facets of femininity.

For nearly 20 years, Agnès Roland has devoted her creativity to women, designing delicate jewelry with a talismanic feel such as engraved medallions, jade earrings, or rings that subtly circle the finger with a line of gold. Raised by a gemologist mother, painter grandparents, and later pursuing an acting career, her journey has drawn her to a creative approach rooted in sensitivity and spirituality, celebrating the many faces of women.

Spirituality and kindness

“I slip messages of kindness into my jewelry. They are filled with love, travel, balance, and a connection to nature” she says. This year, to celebrate her brand’s 20th anniversary, she will launch her first collection of pieces in gold and diamonds. “It’s a way to make them eternal, and to pay homage to the women who’ve contributed to our success, whether it is customers, collaborators or saleswomen.”

Premiere Classe and Who’s Next as lifelong allies

Among her many roles, Agnès Roland also oversees the sales and brand image of Louise Hendricks. She finds her balance in diversity, with a little help from her long-standing partners. Premiere Classe is one of them.

“Premiere Classe has allowed me to expand internationally. As an exhibitor, you get access to a global, high-end market and to significant order volumes.”

Who’s Next also secures her presence within more exclusive stores in Europe. “I believe in a balance between large and smaller volumes. It is crucial in order to secure sales in the long term.”

The joy of being together

This season she enjoyed the energy of Premiere Classe, and the diversity of its buyers, from China to Greece and Portugal. “I am more spontaneous than strategic”, she says, “I put my trust in the energy of the moment”.

She believes in the bonds formed between a brand to its buyers when they take the time to meet at a place like Premiere Classe. “It is so important to gather like we all do here. This is when my jewelry makes the most sense.”
