The Indonesian incubator PINTU at Premiere Classe

The Franco-Indonesian fashion incubator PINTU is a bilateral programme dedicated to Indonesian and French SMEs and designers in the fashion sector. Its aim is to prepare talents for international visibility while emphasising environmental sustainability and traditional craftsmanship.

For the third consecutive year, PINTU will be at Premiere Classe, from 3 to 6 October at the Jardin des Tuileries. This edition will highlight three laureates, who will unveil their creations:

Lil Public, an Indonesian streetwear label that combines visual storytelling with bold urban aesthetics. Known for its monster illustrations as a symbol of free expression, the brand presents the “Hisashi Series” — 12 oversized unisex looks from jackets and hoodies to t-shirts and accessories — debuting at Première Classe Paris 2025.

Denim it Up is an Indonesian denim specialist merging modern streetwear with grunge. At Première Classe Paris 2025, the brand presents “The Revelation” — 12 bold looks that blend Batik with its signature denim DNA, marked by the TRILOGO, red stitch, and colorful finishes.

Fuguku  makes its comeback at Première Classe Paris 2025. Founded in 2023, this Indonesian eco-tech atelier reimagines traditional jumputan with recycled polyester into 3D spiky textures crafted with 70 women artisans. After debuting at Osaka World Expo 2025 — where Fugu Bloom was acquired by Centre Pompidou — Fuguku now presents adaptive modular pieces, the Shell Bag, and collaborations with 2 Mai (Paris) and Anybag (New York).

PINTU Residency x Lakon Indonesia in exclusivity at Premiere Classe

The PINTU Residency, initiated by Lakon Indonesia, highlights Indonesian textile expertise by connecting it to international markets. For this first appearance at Premiere Classe, French designers Priscille Berthaud and Kozue Sullerot immersed themselves in local artisanal traditions: Priscille with tenun weavers in Lombok, and Kozue alongside batik artisans in Tegal.

The result is not a series of experimental prototypes, but two capsule collections ready to meet the expectations of international buyers. Supported by the strong ecosystem of Lakon Indonesia, these creations perfectly illustrate how traditional craftsmanship and international design vision can merge to give rise to collections of lasting relevance.
