JOB DESCRIPTION
Our DNA in a nutshell
For over 30 years, WSN Développement has been the beating heart of creation. We don't just create trade shows: we orchestrate international meeting points (Who's Next, Premiere Classe...) where fashion, lifestyle, art de vivre and innovation meet, collaborate and do business. Ready to export this alchemy across the Atlantic?
The role
As part of our international expansion, we are looking for our future US Project Manager. Your mission? Be the ambassador for WSN in the United States. You won't be selling square meters — you'll be exporting a vision, uncovering tomorrow's American talent, and connecting creative communities on both continents.
YOUR HIGH-FASHION & BUSINESS MISSIONS
1. Strategy & US Market Immersion
- Roadmap & Vision: Co-build the strategy for launching and rolling out WSN concepts in the United States (goals, calendar of key events, brand positioning).
- Cultural Fit: Translate and adapt the WSN experience to the codes, practices and requirements of the American market (pricing, US collection seasonality, buying formats).
- Flight pilot: Build the business plan and manage the budget dedicated to US expansion, with a sharp eye on ROI.
2. Business Development, Curating & Community Building
- Selection & Prospecting: Identify, win over and onboard the American ecosystem (emerging brands, established designers, industry influencers, sponsors and media partners).
- Deal Making: Lead business negotiations from A to Z with the flexibility and customer service mindset typical of American culture.
- Influence network: Recruit, coordinate and drive a network of local agents and business referrers in key hubs (New York, Los Angeles, Miami).
- Retention & Experience: Nurture your portfolio of US brands to turn them into recurring ambassadors of our events.
3. Trendspotting & Collective Intelligence
- Trend hunter: Map the competitive ecosystem (trade shows, pop-ups, showrooms) and decode the early signals of US creative industries (Fashion, Design, Lifestyle, Beauty).
- Format innovation: Analyze the new expectations of American buyers (phygital, sustainability/Impact, cutting-edge retail) to inform the thinking of our creative and production teams in Paris.
PROFILE
- Background & Network: You have significant experience (5 to 7 years minimum) in business development or international project management, ideally within the fashion, retail or creative industries.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: You thrive on challenge. Launching a market energizes you — you are autonomous, agile and solutions-oriented.
- French-American at heart: You have a strong command of US business culture. Your English is naturally bilingual (pitching in English is part of your daily routine).
- Team spirit: WSN is a collective adventure. You know how to work cross-functionally with marketing, communications and production.
