WSN is the organizer of international Fashion and Lingerie events in Paris: WHO'S NEXT, PREMIERE CLASSE, IMPACT, TRAFFIC, BIJORHCA, SALON INTERNATIONAL DE LA LINGERIE and INTERFILIERE PARIS.
Over the past ten years, WSN has grown from 2 to 12 annual events, including Matter&Shape and Shoppe Object Paris, expanding across fashion, lingerie, jewelry, and design markets.
Building on its historic expertise as a professional event organizer, WSN develops year-round physical and digital solutions for creative communities, addressing the ongoing challenges of creative markets.
WSN is a subsidiary of the Comexposium Group, one of the world’s leading event organizers, with 135 events held worldwide each year.
Purpose of the position
As part of the International Development and Promotion team, your role will be to support the team whilst gaining a comprehensive overview of international business development and marketing.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prospecting: International Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and conduct lobbying activities with key institutions and international collaboration opportunities (embassies, trade and export promotion organizations, professional federations).
- Conduct strategic monitoring to identify priority target countries and develop, then maintain, relationships with international partners.
- Contribute to converting prospects into active partners.
- Participate in meetings with institutional partners and exchanges with more than 45 countries.
- Organize and lead visits of foreign delegations during our events.
- Visit competitor trade shows, embassies, and organizations.
- Develop creative proposals (in 3 languages) for sending personalized commercial offers via Canva.
2. Account Management: International Clients
- Monitor the commercial matrix of subsidized brand participations, including conditions negotiated by each institution based on the expertise and objectives of each partner.
- Organize and manage the implementation of collective country participations at trade shows, taking into account the specific constraints and objectives of each client, with a business development-oriented approach.
- Cross-functional coordination with internal departments: sales, technical, exhibitors, buyers, communication, and partnerships.
- Manage client projects end-to-end, handling budget, negotiations, booth location on the exhibition floor plan, and overall coordination through to event day.
3. Marketing & Promotion: Client Activation Point
- Contribute to the development of promotional tools to be marketed to institutions.
- Propose off-stand visibility and promotional services and commercialize them.
- Create and manage webinars (in 3 languages) on various topics to support international brands looking to expand abroad.
4. CRM & Administrative
- Proficient use and enrichment of the Salesforce tool for account creation and tracking business opportunities.
- Maintain and assist in updating the database.
- Monitor and manage visa requests for international participants.
PROFILE
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3).
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s Year 1 work-study program in a business school, marketing, events, or international relations, with a start date planned for August 2026.
- Preferred schedule: 3 weeks / 1 week or 4 days / 1 day.
Language Skills:
- English C1/bilingual (tests prior to recruitment) required, and French C1/C2/bilingual.
- One or more additional foreign languages (tests prior to recruitment): Spanish, Italian, German, Korean, Chinese, Japanese…
Professional Skills:
- Strong proficiency in office tools and software: Google Drive (Sheets, Slides, Docs…), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel…), and Canva.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation abilities.
- Comfortable with public speaking in all languages.
- Interest in fashion, design, and lifestyle industries.
- Ability to adapt approach to the specificities and customs of target regions, taking into account socio-cultural factors.
- Ability to be operational during setup days and throughout the trade show.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
